This session focuses on activities to help middle and high school students identify their feelings, create appropriate responses for a variety of situations, and assess achievement of our communication standards.

In 2003, at nearly 300 pounds, I was extremely overwhelmed both at home and at work facing severe metabolic health issues. I had tried many ways to fix these issues - some worked but only temporarily. It wasn't until I discovered the REAL issue that I could finally take more permanent life changing steps.....ENTITLEMENT was the enemy. My life was fueled by fear UNTIL I learned to how to strategically practice GRATITUDE daily. I was finally able to get my life in order: I was able to manage my stress, time, and energy better. I was able to improve crucial personal and professional relationships. My ability and capacity to create and innovate grew exponentially. I experienced greater health mentally, emotionally, and physically as I easily lost 80 pounds of anger, sadness, and other fear-based thoughts and feelings.
