How to Create an Elite Mind Set and Utilize the 10 Pillars of Mental Performance. Creating an Elite Mind Set in Mental Performance for Life: Many of us as professionals are left with the nagging feeling that something’s missing. More often than we like to admit, we still struggle when it matters most fizzles out, and disappear after a few months, failing to reach our goals, and failing to realize our full potential. The BIGGEST PROBLEM is that most don’t know how to help students and those they work with develop the mental skill set to consistently be at their best, reach their goals, and achieve long-term success. How do we build Body and mind in Physical Education, Health, and Coaching? Questioning? How can I be motivated more consistently, and develop the routines and habits they need to be at their best? How can I stay focused and calm under pressure when time is on the line, and make better decisions, even when it’s hard? How can I stay positive and consistent when not seeing the results we want or performing at the level they expect? How can I refocus and get back on track when we “mess up” … without letting one “failure” spiral into more struggles? How do we help students and individuals be their best when it matters most? How do I help them to reach their goals and have long-term success? Understanding more about the mental performance of individuals, and how to help them achieve an elite mindset will help answer some of those questions and find level ground. Learning how to develop and create the Elite Mindset and how to implement that mindset in our everyday teaching and personal lives will help us be more productive in our own lives, as well helping others. This course will help you understand the 10 Pillars of Mental Performance and Creating an Elite Mind Set for Life.

Coach Beyond: Supporting Student Athlete Mental Health

Participants attending this training will learn practical strategies to integrate into their daily practices and resources to link and refer student-athletes to mental health supports in their schools and communities.
